It’s kind of April Fool’s-ish, really. The ACTUAL launch and release date for the book is April 8th, a week from today.
This launch and release is the penultimate launch/release. Like, almost, but not quite! And just here, online.
Still, given the fact that I’ve been hoping and praying that this book will see the light of day for one year shy of twenty years, this day is no joke (April Fool’s or otherwise) for me. It is only a blessing, and here it is, SING FOR ME, available for purchase at places like Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
The reviews keep coming in, and I have been most grateful for each and every one. Here a couple of highlights:
In a Starred Review, Publisher’s Weekly called SING FOR ME “an impressive debut…a well-wrought and edifying page-turner.”
And Kirkus said that SING FOR ME is “an articulate, well-researched story with an inspirational message about following your dreams…Hits all the right notes.”
You can see additional reviews here at Simon & Schuster’s author portal, and also read an author interview with little, old (in fact, middle-aged) me:

Plus, they somehow got me to do a self-portrait, which I’ll go ahead and share right now, since, hey, it is April 1st.
Happy day! Gratefully yours:
